College of the Peak Women’s Heritage & Sustainable Building Skills Project Come and try your hand at heritage and sustainable building skills such as dry stone walling, lime plastering & rendering AND work on a women’s ECO BUILD project in Northumberland! This is a FREE project. Session 1: North Northumberland, 21st – 23rd Sept 2007 21st - Take part in taster training and a seminar on women on construction and manual trades. 22d-23rd - Assist in a Walter Segal timber-frame build working with architect, Mary Kelly. Session 2: Peak District, 6th - 8th October 2007 Dry Stone Walling, Lime Plaster & Renders training, to include participation in the Heritage and Building Skills Fair at Wirksworth THERE ARE ONLY TEN PLACES AVAILABLE which are restricted to women who live or work in the LEADER+ area of the Peak District –contact the College of the Peak urgently to check eligibility and book your place. 01629 815749 www.collegeofthepeak.org.uk
