Uni-key project management Moodleplatform to share documents, discussideas, record and monitor activities On-line meetings: 1 or 2 times a month (Adobe Connect) Sharedresponsibilities: WP leadership Working in sub-groups Monitoring quality: internal and external (QualityBoard) Structured communication plan (site, leaflet, logo, social network, existing networks and tools, …)
Tips for EU projectdrafting Analysis of EU/national/regionallegislationand policycontext Analysis of projectsfunded by EU in the past, by same/related programmes Integration/coordination withsimilar/relatedongoingprojects Use results and best practices frompast EU projects Innovation, transferibility, dissemination Use PCM tools (problem and objective trees, strategyselection, stakeholderanalysis, and logicalframework)
Tips for EU projectdrafting • If possible, includediagram, drowings, scenarios • Use EU geargon • Follow the instructions provided by EU (read all documentation) • Study the evaluation table (relevance, quality, impact, sustainability, etc.) • Share budget/activitiesamongpartners • Start well in advance • Strategicpartnersearch (selection, EU added value, participatoryapproach, …)
Lessonslearnedabout EU projectmanagement Be aware of interculturaldifferenceswithin the consortium: behaviour, ethics, language, workingmethods, … Practical issues of workingtogether: timezones, holidays, workinghours, … Foreseedelays due to decision-makingprocesses or difficultiesencountered Record everything (think about the interim/final report) Set-upmethods and procedures to share and to geteveryoneinvolved (includingbackstopping staff)
