2. British hip hopis a genre of music, and a culture that covers a variety of styles of hip hop music made in the United Kingdom. It is generally classified as one of a number of styles of urban music.British hip hop was originally influenced by the New York hip hop scene, with British rappers often adopting American accents in the early years.

3. Following an initial flurry of interest from major record labels in the 1980s, by the early 1990s the scene had moved underground after record companies pulled back. In the mid-1990s hip hop in the UK started to experiment and diversify - often mutating into different genres entirely, such as trip hop, UK garage or Drum n Bass.

4. Women have contributed to hip hop’s evolution in Britain from the beginning. The current British hip hop scene features strong women like Estelle, Baby Blue and Ms. Dynamite.

5. As in the US, British hip hop emerged as a scene from graffiti and breakdancing, and then through to DJing and rapping live at parties and club nights, with its supporters predominantly listening to and influenced by American hip hop.

8. Generelly all extreme sportsmen listen to hip-hop. All the tricks, which are made by them, are produced when the music plays. Cool rhythm of music helps the break-dancers in their tricks.

10. Many people think, that hip-hop or other extreme types of music have influence on children`s mentality and health. It`s possible. I agree. As for me I`m OK)I like dancing hip-hop, it gives me energy. But some kids listen to it too much! So they have some problems.
