The debate • Last year someone stated that the voyager-1 probe had left the solar system but people have began to debate it. • Ed stone a scientist of the voyager project said that NASA will not regard the probe out of the solar system until the magnetic sensors reconfigure as this shows that the probe has reached interstellar space on the other hand lots of people have said that at this distance the probe is free of the suns gravity

  3. What is voyager • In 1977 NASA(north American space agency) launched a probe it was called voyager. initially it was intended to study further the outer planets but then it simply carried on.

  4. The facts • Voyager 1 has a magnetic sensor that can detect the gravity of adjacent stars NASA say that once the probe enters true inter-stellar space its gravity sensors will change dramatically and instead of reading our sun it will even out and read all of the stars adjacent to it

  6. More about it Voyager contains a gold plate showing a picture of a male, a female and some children. It also shows earth and our understanding of mathematics the also holds world records like fastest human made object and furthest human artefact from earth it is powered by small nuclear reactors it also holds 11 different instruments for viewing the far universe

  7. conclusion So whether or not the voyager is truly the first human object to leave the solar system all comes down to you perception of the size of the solar system.
