  4. What We Have Tried Doors We Have Knocked On: • Local lease opportunities • Broadway Plaza (Hollywood Video) • 477 Riverside (old Union Office) • Fellsway Building • 1 Highland Avenue (Ferguson) • Planet Fitness (Eastern Avenue)

  6. Grace of Overcrowding Rather than asking ‘where can we put everyone?’, we are asking ‘how do we do space in the next 10-20 years?’ What is the wisest and most strategic way for us to engage just-north of Boston missionally with the Gospel?

  7. Missional Givens Build. We want to build a healthy, Gospel-centered, missional, ‘021’, ‘jnB’ church. Multiply. We want to multiply healthy, Gospel-centered, missional leaders & churches locally, nationally, and globally. Collaborate. We want to serve/influence others who want to do the same.

  8. Missional Givens Not a ‘mega-church.’ Not a ‘wherever church.’ An 021-based, healthy, growing, multiplying, influencing church. What long-term space solution best creates the space for that?

  9. Potential solutions A simplified list, all w/ pros and cons: • 2 services at Emerson • Rent a larger facility on Sundays • Plant a second church or site locally • Lease/purchase permanent space • Break into house church network

  10. Our Response A focused season of prayer this Advent for grace and wisdom as we seek out a space solution to our overcrowding. 40 days, 5 Sundays, 5+ weeks. November 22 through December 31.

  11. 4 Environments for Prayer 1 – Sunday mornings. 2 – Soulcare communities. 3 – 2 or 3 (or more) an hour a week. 4 – Individual/families

  12. 2 or 3 or more One leader, once a week, same place, same time. Prayer times will focus on: • Advent (readings posted every Monday on blog) • Space (updates posted regularly through the 40 days) • And anything else…
