INTD 53 color and the principles of design we must be aware of how it interacts with the other elements and principles of design
rhythm imposes order and unity on a design repeating hues is extremely important to any piece—creates coherence; can impart movement
rhythm hues put into a sequence or progression allow eye to move comfortably through composition
balance symmetrical balance—achieved when composition employs “mirror imaging” of components
