Society Promotion • Promote offerings – keep current with new info • Membership benefits are key to members • Continue to develop and market RS products for members • Visibility/Advertising/Name branding • Chapters – provide information on the society to chapters, including • Brochures, presentations, incentives • Brochure – distribute at conferences, outreaches and other events • Other Societies that overlap or with embedded like interests • Student outreaches – continue to attract students • Advertisement – industry, society or other IEEE publication • And more?????
Member Involvement • Members need notification of activities • Continue announcements i.e. Newsletters, Conferences, etc. • Letter Campaigns to non-renewals and others • Additional eMail announcements (minimum of quarterly) • T-Rel issues • Webinars • “Check out” changes to the website • Chapter activities (new member hookup) • Technical committee activities • Inputs needed
Society Collaboration • Gain membership through other societies with members that have like interests • Common activities and efforts that are a benefit to members of both societies • Combined membership lists for increased advertising • Introduction through Society President-President correspondence • Joint projects will need to be proposed and organized
