Uni campus tours/visits 13. Some questions for student tour guides: • What academic support and career services are available? • What’s the local town/city like? • What’s it like to live in that specific region of the country? • What would they change about the uni/college? • How’s the food, residential hall and class sizes? • What’s campus safety like? • What’s the tour guide’s personal experience at the uni? • Why did the tour guide chose the uni?

Some questions for Admission Officers/Faculty Staff: • Do you accept IB Certificates, BTEC Level 3 National Diplomas? • Do you require SATs (I/II) or ACT and what’s the expected score range? • This year, what were the offers made to IB/BTEC students from HK? • How many of your undergraduates are from HK? • This year, how many applicants applied for a place on the XXXX programme? • How much weighting is given to the personal statement /essay? • What do you look for in a candidate? • How are candidate applications reviewed/shortlisted? • What scholarships /financial aid are available? Is there a separate application for them? • How does the uni/college assess students requesting home status/local fees?
