Maths curriculum comprises a Compulsory Part & an Extended Part
Module 1 (M1) / Module 2 (M2) NOT an elective subjectM1 / M2 - only an Extended Part of mathematics.
Students may take the compulsory Part only, orthe Compulsory Part with either Module 1 or Module 2 from the extended Part

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination DSE Exam Results in Compulsory Part & Extended Part are counted as one subject Exam. results of both parts are Reported Separately
Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination If candidates have results in both parts in HKDSE,the better of the two will be selected for counting of awarded subject levels by HKEAA eg. Students got 5** in both compulsory part & extended part but these two parts are counted as one 5**
