Sprays: modelling versus experimentation UK-Israel Workshop Under the auspices of the Office of Science & Technology, UK British Council, Israel Queens Hotel, Brighton, UK July 16-18, 2007
Workshop Theme • To exchange recent developments in mathematical modelling and experimental studies of sprays and related phenomena with the emphasis on practical engineering applications.
Workshop Objectives • To bring together researchers from Israel and UK working on mathematical modelling and experimental studies of sprays and related phenomena with a view to establishing long term collaboration between Israeli and British research communities, and possible joint projects proposals eligible for funding under EU programmes, including the EU Framework Programme. • To bring together mathematicians, physicists, chemists and engineers from both countries working on spray • modelling and experimental studies and related problems. • To establish a link between established and young researchers working on sprays and related problems.
Workshop Format • Sessions will be scheduled in the mornings and afternoons, with breaks in the formal program to allow general and small group interactions. • There will be keynote invited lectures, technical presentations and poster sessions. Please leave your files for the workshop website! • Everyone invited to participate in the workshop should understand that they will be expected to make contributions throughout the workshop.
