What is BOMA GT? • The premier real estate organization in Tucson for 24 years • Approximately 100 members • BOMA members manage 12.4 million square feet and own 4.2 million square feet of commercial real estate in Tucson. • The tenants occupying BOMA buildings employ over 16,000 Tucsonans. • Actively in legislative issues affecting commercial real estate • Exists to provide legislative, education and networking benefits to our members

  3. BOMA of Greater Tucson Mission Statement To actively and responsibly represent and promote the interests of the commercial real estate industry through effective leadership and advocacy, through the collection, analysis and dissemination of information, and through professional development.

Primary Goals • Education – to increase professionalism through education • Legislative Advocacy – to provide savings and up-to-the-minute information regarding codes and legislation in the city of Tucson • Networking – to provide a network for members to share experiences, knowledge, exchange ideas and to have a resource of qualified and reputable vendors

  13. Understanding Your Membership • When you join BOMA GT, you are joining under your company. Other employees from your company do not automatically become members. You are the only person eligible for member prices and committee participation. • Any other member who wants to join from your company must submit an application and pay annual dues which are at a reduced rate as an “additional member”. • Anytime you change companies, your membership remains with the company. • We also have a Partnership Program (information is in your packet). 2014 sign ups are under way.

  14. Getting the Most of Your Membership The BOMA GT website is a valuable tool for the members. The website (www.bomagt.org) is a resource which includes: • Contact information for the local BOMA office, including board members and committees information • Member Only access to members directory • Upcoming events including all luncheons and educational opportunities • RSVP for the monthly luncheon • Photos and handouts from meetings • Current topics To have full members access to the website: Log into the website and then click on “Forgot Your Password”. This will allow you to create your own password. Be sure to click “Update”!
