Workplan overview • Web Site • Editorial Board Interconnected activates
Web Site • In the Past we have done well • The Web Site was an important step for CLGE • It has served us well However …
Web Site • Issues • Look Feel • Vision and Mission Statement • Prominence of Sponsors • We need to support them • Currency - up datedness • Today’s not yesterdays information
CLGE Web Site The Web Site is CLGE’s shop window, it needs to attract professionals to CLGE and for them to use the site as their first site of choice for professional information. The summary of proposed actions are: • Redesign the look and feel of the CLGE web site, bringing it up todate • Create a policy for style and content of the web site • Create a policy to set currency standards for up dating the web site • Create a policy for content management update in Brussels
Editorial Board • CLGE must provide up to date information for its members and professional users of the Web Site ‘Value for Money’ • However ….. • CLGE has limited financial and human resources and is reliant upon its members to complete tasks on a voluntary basis. Therefore CLGE has to be realistic as to what can be delivered within a given timeframe
Editorial Board • Create an Editorial Policy that delivers realistic expectations that focus on the delivery of an e-brief every six months (more frequently if possible). • Establish a small, group, to deliver the above policy and the e-brief. • Rob Mahoney • Jos Anneveld • Alain Gaudet • GE representative
