  13. Regulation 4, CAWR 2002 ‘Every employer shall ensure that a suitable and sufficient assessment is carried out as to whether asbestos is, or is liable to be, present in non-domestic premises occupied by him, and in which persons work.’ AUE June 2006 controls-assurance.co.uk

  14. Duty holders have to: • Find out if there is asbestos, how much & where. • Presume unknown materials are ACMs. • Make and keep a record of the location and condition of ACMs/presumed ACMs. • Assess the risks from ACMs. AUE June 2006 controls-assurance.co.uk
