  2. Victor (Silver Spring Networks) Assumptions for AMI Application Ranging requirements • Assumptions for AMI Applications: • Endpoints do not move relative to Earth after installation. • Ranging information is not needed immediately after installation • Sub-1 meter range resolution not needed

Victor (Silver Spring Networks) Ranging Parameters • Audience Input encouraged! • Range accuracy Requirement: ≤ 3 meters • Range Resolution Requirement: ≤ 1 meter • Maximum Range support: ≥ 1 kilometer • Latency before first ranging functionality available after installation: ≤ 1 hour • Latency in reporting range to a specific partner node: ≤ 1 minute
