Knicks Victory Over Sixers110-88 The Knicks took their show on the road in a 110-88 victory on Monday night. Leading by eight points at halftime, the Knicks turned up the heat in the third quarter by reeling off an 18-6 run over the first 6 minutes of the period. Carmelo Anthony block and a couple of corner 3-pointers from Ronnie Brewer. Raymond Felton helped the Knicks regain their composure with seven first quarter points and four assists. Anthony finished with 21 points, Felton dropped 16, and Smith scored 17 off the bench. Seven Knicks registered double figures in points and they recorded 24 combined assists as a team.
Clippers 106, Spurs 84 The Clippers won the battle of the boards for the first time this season, outrebounding San Antonio 48-41. The Clippers came into the game averaging the third-fewest rebounds in the league (36.75) and with the fifth-worst rebounding differential (minus-6.5). : Leading by six at the half, the Clippers made their first seven shots of the third quarter to extend their lead to 12. The starters were then subbed midway through the quarter and the reserves led another push, outscoring the Spurs, 10-2, over the final 2 ½ minutes to go up by 20. The Clippers shot 55.4 percent from the field but it was the starters who were especially steamy. Jordan shot 10-for-12, Griffin was 10-for-16 and Willie Green was 5-for-5 with 11 points. As a unit, the starters shot 31-for-47 (65.9 percent). Seven players scored in double figures for L.A.
Thunder 97, Bulls 91 The visiting Oklahoma City Thunder and the Chicago Bulls traded scores and stops until the Thunder pulled away for a 97-91 victory Thursday. Kevin Durant had 24 points (eight in the final three minutes), while Serge Ibaka had 21 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots. Luol Deng led the Bulls with his season-high 27 points, and Richard Hamilton had his season-high 20 points. Each team dominated the game at numerous times and the lead switched hands nine times. The Bulls led by eight points in the first quarter, which ended in a 24-24 tie. The Thunder led by seven points in the second quarter but were up by just one point at half. Both teams enjoyed six-point leads in the fourth quarter. With the Thunder up 89-87 and 1:47 left, Deng lost the ball trying to drive down the right side of the lane, and Durant made a jumper at the other end for a four-point Thunder lead. The Bulls could not get back from that
