  2. Sustainable archive of data freely available for sharing and exchange. Works with investigators to enable sharing of their existing data, supporting NIH guidelines. Provides means to capture, curate, store, query, view, and download biomedical data. Data to include biomedical human and animal model data such as imaging, clinical, microarray, and associated data.   4. BDR will enable sharing of your existing data through a rich curatorial environment, built on the BIRN portal foundation. BDR will provide guidance and suggested language for institutional IRB approval to share your data with the public. In October of 2007, data submission capabilities will be operational to begin expanding the BDR. Data upload will be accomplished through BIRN test bed tools in collaboration with BIRN.   6. Data discoverable via a concept-based query interface; a common ontology [BIRNLex] is required to enable intelligent exploration. Data freely available with an active e-mail address and acceptance of data use agreement: Users will make no attempt to identify the individuals whose data are included in the BDR. Any presentations and/or publications utilizing data shared through the BDR must acknowledge data sources. Data Access and Download

  7. Human structural MRI, clinical, and demographic data: 416 subjects across the adult life span, including individuals with dementia of the Alzheimer's type. [OASIS] Samples of currently available data • Human functional & structural MRI, behavioral, clinical, and demographic data: 100 scanning sessions on five individuals across sites. [FBIRN Phase I]

  8. Mouse atlases: 3D Atlas based on a magnetic resonance microscopy (MRM) image from a normal, 100-day old male C57BL/6J mouse; diffusion-weighted image, label, and mask volumes. [Mouse BIRN]. Mouse microarray studies: Processed microarray data from multiple experiments and sources; several strains, developmental stages, and non-neural data.   9. In the future, the BDR will make collaborative workspaces available, prior to sharing data, for the analysis and visualization of data.
