1995 Oklahoma City Bombing • Bomb attack on Alfred P. Murrah FederalBuilding in downtown Oklahoma City on April 19th. • Killed 168 and wounded 800 • Arrests of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols • As a result of the bombing, the U.S. government passed legislation designed to increase protection around federal buildings.
