WP1 Overview 1 WP1 Goals • Define the lead applications and their operational scenarios • High-speed data applications • Demanding requirements for user interfaces • Gateway requirements and wide area networking • Reliability, security and service quality are key attributes • Create real added value to the public safety field operations • Used for the development of requirements in WP2 and system architectures

WP1 Overview 2 WP1 Sub packages • T1.1 Interaction with user community and user studies • Contribute to network features and operational scenarios • Contribute with contacts with user communities • User requirements studies: reference scenarios studies, applications, deployment strategy, and feasibility with emergency protocols • Initial review and assessment of key applications • Report on the viability of the key applications and further guidance • Use case description of the selected key applications in practical field operations • Studies on functional applications to make Gateway use easier for Emergency services users
