This weekend I went to see the musical “FANBOYS.”I appreciate music with meaningful lyrics. I also enjoy connecting with others. When I arrived, I could not find parking. I could not find my tickets. Eventually I found tickets with a scalper who offered me the tickets if he could sit next to me. I could spend the whole concert frightened by this sketchy person. I could go home without hearing the sweet tones of my band. I had these two options. I made my decision to leave quickly. Before I could leave, the band members themselves arrived. Heather betrayed Melinda by deciding to no longer be friends with her. Heather was trying to gain popularity and felt as though Melinda’s depressed self was pulling her down. Think of a time someone close to you betrayed you. I will not grade this on grammar or punctuation. Just write. Write about how it made you feel. What happened? Did things get better?
