10. Children of problem gamblers are more likely to become pathological gamblers as teens (Gupta & Derevensky, 1997; Jacobs, 2000; Wallisch & Liu, 1996)

10 to 17 percent of children of compulsive gamblers had been neglected or abused (NORC, 1999)
