  2. Practice with Rotations • Divide the class into two teams, named “X” and “O”. • Draw a large tic-tac-toe grid on the board. • Take turns asking questions of each team. The answer must include an explanation. • If answered correctly, they may place their symbol on the game board. • If answered incorrectly, the other team may place their symbol on the game board. • The first team with 3 symbols in a row wins the game.

  3. Question 1 • TRUE or FALSE? • This pinwheel is spinning in a counterclockwise direction. • WHY?

  5. Question 2 • TRUE or FALSE? • The number of degrees separating the center lines of the blades on this fan is 60°. • WHY?

  6. Question 2 • FALSE • The number of degrees separating the center lines of the blades on this fan is 60°. • WHY? There are four blades on the fan. Divide 360° by 4. The blades are 90° apart.
