Vision inspires followers Change is driven by vision
Vision isn't a solitary thing It must be shared by all who are in leadership
Vision is like: 1. Glue - it holds us together
2. A magnet - it attracts new people
3. A yardstick - it measures our progress A yardstick - it measures our progress
4. A laser - it points out our destiny A laser - it points out our destination
A good vision is a preferred dream of the future. Good leaders have dreams in their eyes.
We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing
We live in a sea of change Everything around us is changing
From the time of recorded history until 1900 knowledge doubled. • By 1950 it had doubled again. • By 1975 it was doubling every five years.
At this time it's doubling every two years
In a sea of change, we need anchors
