The longest river The Volga is the longest river in Europe.It flows into the Caspian Sea. It`s length is 3530 km,the area of the river is 361000 km².There are four bigcities on the Volga:Nizhny Novgorod,Kazan,Samara,Volgograd.
The largest country in the world Russiais the largest country in the world.Russia is situated on two continents:Europe and Asia.Russia is a very rich country.There are many mountaines,rivers,lakes and forests.There area lot of animals,birds and plants in our forests, fields and mountains.Russia is also rich in gold, silver, oil, gasand other minerals.
Symbols of Russia The wildlife and flora are very rich,and the birch tree and the bear have become the symbols of Russian Federation.We have steppes in the south, plains and forests in the midland, tundra and taiga in the north, highlands and deserts in the east. r

Columbus wanted to discover India, so he called the people who lived on that continent “Indians”. Later Amerigo Vespucci (Italian explorer) “discovered” America again. Europeanpeople wanted to live in America, so they had a voyage on a “Mayflower” ship. They wanted to start a new life on a new continent.
