Commercial Vehicle Production in the UK Development In 2004 UK CV production jumped 10.8 %, this rise reflected growth of the UK's main CV producers due to: Ford's Transit plant in Southampton The IBC plant in Luton which produces the GM, Renault and Nissan light commercial vehicles The export markets continue to play a dominant role in the landscape, with nearly seven out of ten vehicles made in the UK destined for export.
