  2. Steps for Closing of cApexsql • Step1 : Check Free Disk Space on drive where Software is Installed. Free space must be approx. twice of current database size. • Step2: Check for any pending amount .If found any dues then consult account department. • Step3: Download New sqlclient.zip and scomclose.zip from www.shilpisoft.com before start process of Closing. • Step4: Ask the client to send request for closing. For it, follow the following steps: • Extract sqlclient.zip in package folder(example: d:\cApexsql) • Double click on sqlclient.exe Sqlclient.zip Sqlclient.exe

  3. Check i-net connection . If connection is successful then click on Send FA Closing Request otherwise check internet connectivity or port 8089 (This port should open.). 4. Send FA closing Request 1. Click on it 2. Wait for the following message 3 .Click on OK.

  4. Following window will open .Fill all details and send request Select Product Type Enter database name Enter Contact person name Enter Mobile no/ Ph. no Click on send request. Following message will display. Click on OK.

  5. Step5: After sending request, a DCR will be created automatically(if all details are valid ). Now, FA Closing is allowed for that database.

  6. Step6: Login into Package (i.e. capexsql) • Run check Database from Utilities Menu.

  7. Following window will open Click on Start to check the database After database checking following message will display

  8. Step7: After confirming with license dept then start the process of closing. • Update License of current database from new SQLCLIENT.EXE.   1. Click here. Following message must display 2.Click on OK

  9. Update License Status. 1. Select product id 2. Enter database 3. Select Auto Mode 4. Click on Get Activation. Following message will display

  10. Step8: If Database Check Is Successful. Take Database Backup. For backup follow the following steps: • Double click on Back _NSE9798.bat Note: SQL engine must be closed during this operation

  11. Step9: Download Faclose4.zip from www.shilpisoft.comin package folder ( cApexsql folder ) 1.Download Faclose4.Zip

  12. Now Extract FACLOSE4.zip Extracted file Faclose4.exe Downloaded file Faclose4.Zip

  13. Enter Running/Current Database Name (e g. NSE9798). • (b) Enter New Financial Year Start & End Dates. (e g. Current Fin. Year From: 01/04/2010 Current Fin. Year To: 31/03/2011). • (c) Click Show Button. • (d) Enter Sett. no according to their Sett. Types in table. Leave Blank Sett. No. if Sett. Types is not Known. • (e) Select 'Remove Current Financial Year' Button and Click Start Button. • Step10: Run Faclose4.exe From Program Folder (i.e. capexsql folder).

  14. Part 1:- For Removing Current financial Year 1. Enter Running/Current Database Name (e g. NSE9798). 3. Click Show Button 5. Click 'Remove Current Financial Year' Button And Click Start Button. 2. Enter New Financial Year Start & End Dates (e g. Current Fin. Year From: 01/04/2010 Current Fin. Year To: 31/03/2011). 6. Click Start Button This Process Will Take Time Depending upon database size. Closing will be completed after successful message. 4. Enter Sett. no according to their Sett. Types in table. Leave Blank Sett. No. if Sett. Types is not Known. Note: Settlement No. for the new financial year i.e. first settlements with payin or payout dates falling in new financial year and asked these settlement to client.

  15. Part 2---Retaining Current Year • Create a folder named NSe1011 in SQL850 folder • Extract backup file to NSe1011 folder

  16. Rename Old Year Database DBS File To New Year Database Name (eg. NSE9798.DBS TO NSE1011.DBS). Note-Please Make sure SQl Engine must be closed during this operation

  17. Step11: Edit Sql.ini File In Sql850 Folder. To edit it, follow the following steps: • Find Block [dbnt1sv]Find dbname=nse9798,sqlws32 and put entry for • dbname =nse1011,sqlw32 (add this line in small alphabets) • Copy this sql.ini into cApexsql folder also.( means replace sql.ini in capexsql folder with this file)

  18. Step12: Double Click on Dbnt1sv.exe from SQL850 Folder and new database i.e.NSe1011 will display

  19. Step12: Run Faclose4.Exe From Program Folder( i.e. cApexsql Folder)

  20. 1. Enter New Year Database Name (eg. nse1011). 2. Enter New Financial Year Start & End Dates (eg. Current Fin. Year From: 01/04/2010 Current Fin. Year To: 31/03/2011). 3. Click Show Button. 7. If F&O Is Active Then Enter First Date of expiry Of New Financial Year (eg. 29/04/2010). 4. Enter Sett. Nos(From Step 4 From Removing Current Financial Year) According To Their Types In Table. Leave Blank For Sett. Types Not Known. 8.Click 'Retain Current Financial Year' Button And Click Start Button. 9. Click on start

  21. Note: This Process Will Take Time Depending on Database Size. Closing Will Be Completed After Successful Message.

  22. Step13: Run sqlclient.exe to license New Year Database. • Choose database type (CApexsql), Enter New Year Database & Database ID and click on 'Get Activation', after successful message you can run your package. Select database Restore/Fin closing Select Product Type Enter database name Enter Installation Id given by license department Click on Get Activation . Following message will display

  23. Step14: Edit File Cofile.Dll In Program Folder i.e Folder Where cApexsql.exe Has Been Executed. Add New Line With New Year Entry: (eg. NSE1011 Financial year 01/04/10 To 31/03/11).

  24. Now Double Click Capexsql.exe. • Select current year database.

  25. Step15: Login into package by entering user id & password

  26. Go To Utilities>>System File Maintenance and Change Financial Year In New Database.

  27. Click on save Change Financial Year

  28. Step16: Edit in Winback.bat • Replace NSE9798 with NSE1011

  29. Replace All

  30. Save as winback.bat as Back_NSE1011.bat

  31. Make shortcut of Back_NSE1011 on desktop

  32. Step17: Before taking backup, make sure SQL Engine Properly Shutdown Close SQL engine. Click on close Following message must display after closing the SQL engine

  33. Step18: Before Double Click on this please make sure logout from package Double click on Back_NSE1011.bat file to Take Backup Note: SQLengine must be closed during this operation.

  34. Step19: Now login into Old Year database i.e. NSe9798 • Select previous year database and click on default

  35. Go To Utilities>>System File Maintenance and Change Financial Year In Old Database Change Financial Year

  36. Double click on Back_NSE9798.bat file to Take Backup Note: SQL engine must be closed during this operation Step20: Double click on Back _NSE9798.bat

  37. cApexsql Closing successfully done.
