EMT -EMT’s give emergency and lifesaving services to people who have had a accident or a sudden illness or attack -They work with people at the scene of the accident and during transportation to the hospital -EMT’s usually work in teams or two and are often staff of a hospital emergency department.

  3. Earnings -$24,000 to $32,900 a year

  4. Advancement and employment opportunities -EMT’s may recive paid vacations, sick days, holidays of, and life/health insurance

  5. Future outlook in regards to job availability • There were 12,720 jobs avalible in 2010 and growth is expected more than average for EMT’s • The epected number in 2016 is expected to be 14,460

  6. Suggested HS courses and Required education and training -EMT basic training -High School diploma or G.E.D -Bachelors degree

  7. Other Facts - Most people who are EMT’s also work other jobs because often people don’t make enough to support themselves with being just and EMT
