European Cooperation Day 2018: Celebrating 26,000 People and Cross-Border Projects

European Cooperation Day is an annual celebration of cooperation across borders. In 2018, we reached 26,000 people through 120 events held in 30 countries, connecting cities, regions, and people. Interact provides knowledge sharing services to support Interreg programmes, which fund over 6,000 cooperation projects across European borders. The Climate Change and Risks Network shares knowledge and promotes best practices in tackling climate change through regular meetings, webinars, and joint campaigns.

  1. 26,000 celebrated cooperation in 2018 European Cooperation Day is an annual celebration of cooperation across borders On 21 September, we invite citizens to see and enjoy the practical results of cooperation projects In 2018 we reached 26,000 people at 120 events held in 30 countries

  2. Connecting cities, regions & people Interact provides knowledge sharing services to support Interreg programmes Interreg programmes fund projects that embed cooperation and cross borders Over 100 programmes are funding more than 6,000 cooperation projects across European borders

Sharing knowledge to tackle climate change The Climate Change and Risks Network exchanges knowledge, promotes results and best practice on a thematic basis The network has regular meetings, webinars and joint social media campaigns The network shares Interreg experiences at EU and UN Climate Change conferences
