What are some socio-cultural factors that may lead to depression? • Vulnerability of depression is based on a lot things that could affect the likelihood of depression occurring. Below are possible factors: - lacking employment away from home - no social support - having a few young children at home - loss of father/mother at an early age - experience with childhood abuse
