How to apply • Apply online www.eadmissions.org.uk by 31/10/18 (acknowledgement) Or • Electronically so you will need an email address • Paper based applications can only be done if Newham is emailed for one at pupil.services@newham.gov.uk.. • Fill in paper Common Application Form (CAF) hand in to school by Friday 19th October 2018 to the school office staff or post to arrive on or before 31stOctober2018. If applying for VA faith school obtain, complete and return a SIF (supplementary information form) by 31/10/18 • If applying for a school out of borough still name school on Newham form (find out about their admissions procedures). • If you live out of borough you must fill in that borough’s form (not Newham’s)

  8. How to apply? • Name up to 6schools – name sibling, write reasons why e.g religion medical, social. • PLEASE DO NOT WRITE JUST 1 or 2 or the same school 6 times!!!!!! • To help you decide, go to the school, ask other parents, check out their Ofsted results (google OFSTED reports) • Page 76 explains step by step how to apply online

  9. Documents you may need to attach • Confirmation of your child’s address and their date of birth. • Refer to page 72 which clearly states the documents needed with examples.

  10. Once you have applied • You must tell the primary school your application number once you have applied online. Or • If you are handing the form into school this must be done by Friday 19th October 2018 • Only ONE school place will be offered. Friday 1st March 2019 is National Offer Day.

If you have any further questions or would like support please speak to Mrs Ali( Family Support Worker) or Mrs Ahmed.Mrs Ali will be hosting some drop in sessions to support and offer advice regarding the application forms. These sessions will take place on:Monday 24th September – 2.30-3.15pmMonday 1st October – 9.00-10.00amMonday 8th October – 9.00-10.00amMonday 15th October – 2.15-3.15pm
