Clinical Agency Goals • Similar core goals for all clinical agencies • Various goals tailored to specific clinical agencies
Patient Safety Advisory Group • Advises Joint Commission on : -evidence for suggestions -practicality and cost to implement • Make adjustments to number of goals • Reviews suggested actions for patient safety
Revisions to NPSG • Clarified / streamlined some elements • Hospital-Some goals retired (reduced number from 11 ) • Moved some to standards
