Service Community February • Tuesday 9th: Teens for Jeans • bring old gently used jeans to APO on Tuesday (1 hour/pair) • volunteers to drive jeans to Aeropostale before Sunday 14th • Saturday 13th: Bloomington Parks and Rec • Kids Expo, 9-12:30 and 12:30-4 • Saturday 13th: Little Sweethearts Night • Children’s Discovery Museum, 5:30-8 • Monday 15th: Senior Citizens Valentine’s Day • Western Ave. Comm. Center- Dinner/Dance 5:30-8:30 • Saturday 27th: BroMenn, Day of Dance • all morning at Heartland • see me for volunteer form • email Sue Seibring at sseibring@bromenn.org with preferences. April • Saturday 10th: Wellness Expo at Shirk

Service CNF • Campus Continued… • Friday Night Lights • 5 people per week • 2 times per person only • Blue Moon Coffee House Friday, January 29th 7-10pm, 2-3 people • IWU/ISU Spring Job Fair at ISU, February 17th • 10am-3pm- assist at the IWU registration table • Pink Zone Night- 5pm Saturday Feb 13th • 10 volunteers needed to help sell pink t-shirts and other fundraisers for Breast Cancer research. • Counts for Campus or National AND fundraising

Service: CNF • National • Haiti blood drive at ISU, January 27th • In old main room at Bone Student Center • 12pm-6pm, sign up online at givebloodgivelife.org • National Merit Badge Day, February 27th from 7am-5pm • helping with the Polar Plunge, February 28th • Bowl for Kids sake will likely need volunteers on March 6th and March 20th • Boys and Girls Club • Background check and volunteer form • Fill out here after chapter!!! • we'll be going a couple of weekday afternoons a month

Must be 21! • Steak and Shake, Tuesday, February 2nd after initiation • We'll be making paddles for Pledge Kids this year. • Tell me by Feb. 9th if you want one

Treasurer: Kristen Slamar • kslamar@iwu.edu • Assistant: Emily Coles ecoles@iwu.edu • Committee: 2 spaces left • Plan 2 fundraising events • Dues: $35 due Tuesday, Feb. 16th • Associates must also pay dues • If need to be late, tell me ahead of time • Can still take surveys for hours • Cheating could actually get our org. qualified • Puppy Chow Sale March 8-10 in CNS • 2 hours for making a batch • 1 hour for buying the ingredients, 1 hour for making the puppy chow • Car Washes!!! • March 27th and April 17th, 10:45-3pm

Pledge Ed: Carly Wilson • cwilson3@iwu.edu • Committee: Full • Rush Week: January 25th through 28th • Please attend as many rush events as possible and wear APO letters this week! • Wednesday, January 27- Game Night 8-9 PM, Fellowship • Davidson Room • Thursday January 28 – Fellowship, 6 PM • Tommy’s Restaurant • Initiation: Tuesday, February 2nd • required meeting: Business Casual and service pins • Please come at 8:45 so we can start at 9 • Interested Pledge Parents email Carly ASAP • New Actives should definitely get a kid! • Easy and not very expensive

A minimum of two (2) activities is required. The time taken to travel to off-campus activities will count towards the three hours. Said activities will be at the discretion of the Executive Board. • Change needed for associate fellowships in by-laws (new business)
