American Corners • American Corners are partnerships between the U.S. Embassy and major universities in Indonesia. • American Corners provide access to current, accurate and reliable information about the political, economic, cultural, educational and social life in the United States via a collection of books, magazines and journals, CD-ROMs, DVDs and access to internet and online databases, and through local programming to the general public. • Eleven American Corners are located at host institutions throughout the country. http://jakarta.usembassy.gov/american-corner.html

English Language Fellow Program • The EL Fellow Program fosters mutual understanding, promotes English language learning and enhances English teaching capacity abroad. • Through projects sponsored by U.S. embassies, EL Fellows share their professional expertise, hone their skills, gain international experience and learn about other cultures. • EL Fellows model and demonstrate up-to-date TEFL classroom practices that help foster thoughtful and responsible behavior in students and teachers of English. http://exchanges.state.gov/us/program/english-language-fellow-program#sthash.tqDG1TZ5.dpuf

Fulbright English Teaching Assistant • The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program places recent college graduates and young professionals as English teaching assistants in primary and secondary schools or universities overseas • Improving foreign students’ English language abilities and knowledge of the United States while increasing the U.S. student's own language skills and knowledge of the host country. • ETAs may also pursue individual study/research plans in addition to their teaching responsibilities. • http://exchanges.state.gov/us/program/fulbright-english-teaching-assistant-program#sthash.47odIqSq.dpuf
