How to survive as an actor • Develop extra skills (eg. fencing / dancing) • Build up network of contacts • Getting an agent • Market yourself - send out CVs to casting books • Keep yourself busy between acting jobs (eg. odd jobs for regular income) • Look after yourself - keep fit and healthy
