  2. life • Born as Steve Rodgers • Born during the great depression • Frail and sickly • Worked hard to support himself • Saw scenes of the war when Nazis overtook Europe • Then wanted to join the army to help out Europe • Rejected due to his small and weak frame

Life • Complained about not getting into the army • Army General Chester Phillips offered him a place in a biological top-secret experiment • Operation: rebirth • Eagerly excepted the offer • Later got injected with the Super Soldier Serum which enhanced all of his physical characteristics tramendeasouly • Known as the Army’s ultimate fighting weapon

  4. The Army • First deployed to Europe • Transferred bases frequently • Were ever Captain America was needed • Was in a bomb-droned plane • Plane crashed killing all except Captain America because his super soldier serum and the cold water put him into a stage of suspended animation

  5. The Avengers • While in suspended animation the Avengers Discovered Captain America • Discovered decades after the plane crash • Became a member

  7. The Story behind The Shield When Captain America started out he was in the well known American flag suit. Also his shield which was in the shape if another superhero’s and was forced to change it. Then on after it was a circle shaped shield with the American flag on it. This was not a normal shield it was 2 and a half feet in diameter and a weight of 12 pounds that could slice through air. OLD NEW
