3. Make it big 24 point font or more Good Size Photos • This is 16 point font • This is 18 point font • This is 24 point font • This is 28 point font • This is 36 point font

4. Make it simple • Lists should not have more than 3 items • 1 • 2 • 3 • Each item should have only one idea

5. 3 X 7 Rule • No more than 3 bullet points • No more than 7 words per line

6. Keep it clear • Use dark letters and a light background OR • Use light letters and a dark background

7. Keep it clear • Don’t use ALL CAPITALS • Don’t use italics • Use colors to emphasize words • Use sans serif font (Tahoma, Verdana)

8. Make it consistent • Don’t use too many colors • Don’t use toomany different fonts • Use the same kind of bullet points
