  2. The Massachusetts School BuildingAuthority (MSBA) • Authority Established in 2006 • Funding from 1 cent of the 6.5 cent MA sales tax • Responsible for all School Construction in the Commonwealth

  3. History of Submitting required information to MSBA • Required to submit Statement of Interest (SOI) • Statement of Interests Submitted for the Bresnahan School and the Nock/Molin School each year since 2007 indicating priority needs • Both SOI’s voted by School Committee and City Council each year

  4. How as Information Submitted to MSBA Generated? • Previous Feasibility Studies performed and reported existing conditions of Schools • Facilities Study and Asset 1995 • Feasibility Study 1997 • Long-Term Elementary Building Needs Committee Report 2002 • Updated Long-Term Report 2006
