Languages Other than english Chinese 6th Grade Rotation Spanish French German Italian After the Magnet students go through the language rotation, they are allowed to choose a language that they would like to repeat during the last 6 weeks cycle.
Languages Other than english Spanish for Native Speakers SPANISH II NS Placement Test for Spanish Native Speakers SPANISH I NS AP SPANISH Native speaking students or students that have attended a dual language program, are allowed to take a placement test in order to advance into Spanish I for Native Speakers. Upon completion of Spanish I NS, native speaking students may be offered the opportunity to attend Spanish II NS or AP Spanish based upon merit.
Languages Other than english Getting Language Credit High School Credit Class 7th Grade Sequential Class Chinese 1 French 1 German 1 Italian 1 Spanish 1 Chinese 7th Sequential French 7th Sequential Spanish 7th Sequential German 7th Sequential Italian 7th Sequential - Students must pass both semesters of a sequential class in order to advance to the Level 1 high school credit class - High School credit classes require a midterm and final with a passing semester average to obtain credit.
Languages Other than english Getting Language Credit for Native Speakers Spanish Spanish I NS + Spanish II NS = 2 High School Credits Spanish I NS + AP SPANISH = 2 High School Credits Spanish I NS + AP SPANISH + AP Spanish College = 4 High School Credits Board Exam score 3 or higher * Passing the AP Spanish Exam with a 3 or 4 provides college credit as well.

Languages Other than english What Langauge Should My Student Learn? It is best to allow students (especially at this age) to learn the language they want to learn. Success in language learning comes from ambition fueled by interest in what you are learning. Students are much more successful when they are excited and wanting to learn.
