THE EURES NETWORK Promoting mobility of Workers in EUROPE since 1993
EURES Network Co-operation network between the European Commission and the National Public Employment Services of the 28 EU Member States and Switzerland and the EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein)
EURES Purpose EURopeanEmployment Services • Provide information, advice and guidance to potentially mobile workers on job opportunities as well as living and working conditions in the EU Area • Provide services to jobseekers and employers for recruiting/ placing to available positions in 32 countries • Provide services to employees, jobseekers and any citizen wishing to benefit from the principle of free movement within the EU.
How the Network Works The Network is based on two important axes: Human Axis- The Advisers EURES Web Portal Between them, they provide a broad range of information, vacancies and CVs
EURES Advisers • EURES offers a network of advisers who provide information and support to jobseekers and employers through personal contacts. There are more than 1050 EURES Advisers across Europe. • EURES advisers are trained specialists who provide the three basic services: information, advice for placement in vacancies existing in Europe and placements. • They work within the PES of each member country • Training 120 Hours by the EU and continuing training every year on mobility issues
In31/5/2016: 1,100,000 available vacancies 240,000 CVs of jobseekers (1,500,000 in old portal) 6,100 registered employers (32,000 in old portal) 4.000.000 visitsin portal every month * The number of CVs and employers is low compared to the old portal, due to the fact that the new EURES portal started operation in August 2014. May jobseekers have not yet transfer their CVs and the employers need to re-register in the new portal EURES in numbers
EURES portal is the gateway to employment in EUROPE: • Through the EURES portal you have access to information from a network of 1050 EURES Advisers across Europe • Selecting "Job Search" you have access to million of jobs in 32 European countries. • Create your personal «EURES» account. To subscribe to EURES as a job seeker, you must complete the registration form found on the Portal. After completing the process you will receive in your e-mail a confirmation message, where you will find a link to verify the address of your email.
Once you have your personal account at EURES you can post your CV on-line to make it available to search to thousands of registered employers from Europe. Whenever your resume meets the criteria of an employer, the employer has the ability to send you quick and easy communication request through the EURES portal. When not using the homepage for twelve weeks, the personal file or job applicant is no longer available to employers. When not in use the homepage for a year, personal file is deleted. EURES portal is the gateway to employment in EUROPE
Receive notifications in your email inbox for vacancies that match your CV or profile. For each vacancy is information on how to submit an application and who to contact. The person can either contact the EURES adviser who will process the application or, in many cases, to contact directly with the employer. EURES portal is the gateway to employment in EUROPE

Our target is: to help 1000 young people from Europe to find employment, apprenticeship or practical training by June 2017 6 months
Addressed to • Young people aged 18-35 • EU 28 nationals + Norway and Iceland • moving to another EU country for a job, apprenticeship or internship • minimum 6-months contracts, apprenticeship or traineeship
Procedure • Young people up to 35 must register first and fill in their CV (EUROPASS) • The system matches CVs and Vacancies available • The final selection of candidates is made by the employer
Financing • Interview trip (up to 350 € for the travel / 50€ per max 3 day for DSA) – for selected jobseekers by the employer • Relocation costs (up to 1.270 €) • Language training (up to 1.270 €) • Recognition of qualifications (up to 1.000 €) • Supplementary relocation (up to 500 €)

Your First EURES Job FOR THE INTERVIEW: • Payment is due upon receipt of written confirmation of the interview by the employer, signed by the candidate, which contains all the information necessary for the interview. FOR THE LANGUAGE Course: • The costs of young candidates for language lessons take place after the completion of the course. Similarly, costs for recognition of qualifications are attributed after the completion of the required procedures and take official recognition. The RESETTLEMENT Allowance • The resettlement allowance is provided either before or after the relocation, with all supporting documentation, such as the signed work contract.
