Senior Cup • Senior Cup Conditions must be read carefully by all Team Captains. • Condition 10.4.2 and 10.4.3 must be adhered to.
Condition 10.4.2 Senior Cup • For District Finals, the team of 5 players named at the time of entry must be present at the venue for the first match. If any of these 5 players is not present because she is incapacitated by illness accident of other sudden unavoidable occurrence she may be substituted by one of the Team Captain’s nominated reserves.
Condition 10.4.3 Senior Cup • On the day of competition the team captain may nominate a maximum of two reserves who do not need to be within the handicap limit: thus a panel of 7 may exist i.e. the 5 players at time of entry plus 2 reserves. • The team captain may use the two reserves if desired in the first round or in the subsequent round of District Finals
Distance Measuring Devices • DMDs are not allowed at any Inter Club Matches even if there is a local rule that allows them. • If a DMD is an integral part of your cart it must be disabled. • If there is a pedometer attached to your cart or buggy it must be disabled. • DMDs are allowed at club level of Oz Spoons, Medals where there is a Local Rule allowing them.
DMDs Condition 10 • The ILGU is not permitting the use of DMDs in its events. DMDs are permitted in ILGU competitions at club level i.e. ILGU Medals or Oz Spoons, where there is a Local Rule in place allowing them. However DMDs are not permitted in the District/National finals of these or any other ILGU event. In addition DMDs are not permitted at any level of ILGU lnter-club Match play events e.g. ILGU Interclub Championships (formerly A.As), Miele Interclub Fourball, Senior Cup etc.
New Transportation Policy • In order to use a buggy at ILGU events players must apply in advance to the ILGU Office in Sandyford for permission to use a buggy. • This application must be made at least 10 days before the event. • A consent form must be signed and presented to the Tournament Secretary on the day of the event. • Permission will not be granted to players on the day of the competition as was formerly done. • If you wish to apply , do read the Transportation Policy carefully which is available in the Handbook or on the Website (click on Championships).
Miele Four Ball • Shots are conceded in this Competition as usual • As the count back is very important if there is a tied match , it is important to finish out the hole when the match is to finish. • If you want to call in a match there must be no doubt about the team result . • Remember that you can “Step Down” in Miele but it must be the high handicap that steps down.

Junior Medal Competitions • Clubs who have Junior Girls should encourage Juniors to play in Qualifying weekly competitions. • To qualify to play in the Junior Medal final, Juniors must be flagged on Club Computer Register as Junior Golfers
