Student learning goals • Work cooperatively in groups • Integrate technology as a learning tool • Take responsibility for their own learning • Increase the amount of time spent on writing in all classes • Increase achievement according to the definition of student achievement
Definition of Student Achievement • Student achievement is the result of a well rounded student who embraces learning and maximizes his/her potential by acquiring skills that reflect the following characteristics in both academic and social growth: • Synthesizes information • Demonstrates independence in action and thought • Demonstrates growth in assessments • Communicates effectively in verbal and written forms • Exemplifies 6 pillars of character: citizenship, caring, trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness • Collaborates • Demonstrates metacognitive awareness.
