Objectives Today, I will…. • Content: grasp the general concept of the Rounds process and understand that I will be extending my instruction to a whole new level. • Language: make a written and a verbal commitment to make changes in my instruction by implementing the CIF strategies with fidelity. • Vocabulary: Rounds, initiating, developing, demonstrating
Who are you? Name
Activity One • Stand-up, Pair-up, Share-up • Stand up, raise your hand • High five someone, stand back to back • First person shares for 30 seconds while other partner listens without interrupting, switch, repeat • Pair finds two other pairs (preferably people you are not familiar with) to form a group of six • Teacher introduces partner to group (30 sec.)
Activity Two • 1. Think about your favorite teacher. (S)(15 sec.) • 2. Why did you choose that teacher? (Q) (20 sec) • 3. List 2-3 things you wished that teacher would have done differently. (WTL) (1 min.) “Even though I consider ________my favorite teacher, he/she could have…” • 4. Groups of four. Number off 1-4. Each person shares responses (CT)(30 sec. each)
