How are you using SIGnetwork resources? • Participating in teleconferences - Time to catch up/connect with peers • Reviewing Measuring Up Articles to see methods/tools other evaluators were employing • Looking at complete grant applications from other states to help with examining appropriate formats/models.
What SIGnetwork is doing well… • Teleconferences: Notifications, set-schedule, posted minutes, informative, helpful on-target teleconference topics, and having presenters like Dean Fixsen • Forms and Templates for progress and final reports • Contact lists “ It is comforting to have one stop shopping-a place where I know I can find contact information and anything connected or of interest to SIG/SPDG.”
Suggestions to improve SIGnetwork resources • Add expanded calendar of OSEP activities /meetings • Organize information topically • Add links to TA centers offering assistance in hot areas (videos - http://idea.ed.gov/ Building a Legacy: IDEA 2004), • Add current links to SIG/SPDG announcements, reporting, forms, and requirements • Clear outline of indicators to assess • Add Sample surveys, Evaluation models and other evaluations tools • Add Communities of Practice Groups around certain themes or topics • More sharing of evaluation and results from each state/grantee • Add Interactive chat feature
