What we thought/what we learned • Carly P. I learned that you should help people even if you do not get paid. I fell like I really helped someone out. I helped them out by giving them warmth when they go to sleep. I think I gave them joy and pleasure. It was a fantastic experience for me.
What we thought/what we learned • Cody C. What I thought about the blanket project is that it was a good learning experience and that it helped kids get some books to read and something to wrap up in when they get cold or tired. If we were to do the same project again, I would want to help out. It gave me a new skill, and I got to help little kids. .

It will make other people happy, and it will make you feel proud. People of all cultures, all races, all backgrounds, and all ages need appreciation and a sense of being needed. Service projects provide both. Plus, it’s fun!
