Why London Skolars RL? • Haringey Council’s ‘Celebrating Sport, Club of the Year 2011’ • London RL Junior League Club Of The Year 2011 • Community orientated professional rugby league club, active across the North London boroughs • Three full-time members of staff in the Community team • Directly engage with over 10,000 people annually across North London • Creating opportunities for youngsters to get involved in sport and encouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle • Run full Junior programme from under 11’s to under 18’s as well as a professional first team competing nationally & open age ‘A’ side • Various community initiatives including estate based derivative, “Urban Rugby” • Active in schools providing coaching as part ofthe national curriculum as well as after school clubs • Awarded Club Mark Award by the RFL governingbody in 2011

Non contact derivative of the game played on any surface and virtually any size pitch • Offer the chance for youngsters to get involved with sport who normally would not have the opportunity
