  1. TOTAL DEFENCE 13th February 2009 COMBINED UNIFORM GROUP EMERGENCY DRILL

  2. 3.30am • BRIEFING (NOT part of the exercise yet) • Attendance sheet for Ms Wong • Report casualties for the day (this’s real) • Collect • Red sash: First Aid Post (St. John) • Bright Yellow sash: Warden (NCC) • Blue sash: Assembly Area Post (NPCC) • Green sash: Gate/ Parent Liaison Post (Scouts) • Dark Yellow sash: Operations Centre (Mr. Shahari)

  3. At 4pm: Scenario • You hear ‘This is an Emergency Exercise for Upper Secondary UG Members. Emergency Exercise Begins’ • All will evacuate to assemble in Parade Square (if it rains, assemble inside Theatrette)

  4. Parade Square • NPCC will activate first: ushers along the way • Each UG Student IC : Watch out for Placard that states your UG name and raise it to face the Assembly Area Post Teacher IC: Ms Tan Bee Juat

  5. Parade Square • Each UG Student IC/ Teacher • After assembling, to collect attendance list from Assembly Area Post • each UG IC assist teacher to take attendance • Report the attendance to Assembly Area Post

  6. Parade square • When all attendance is given to Assembly Area Post, Teacher IC (Ms Tan) will inform you that your post is activated. • Each UG is to follow your teacher to set up your post

  7. 4.35pm - End of Exercise • Continues till you hear announcement “The UG Emergence Exercise has ended” • You’ll proceed to Theatrette for a debrief

  8. 5.10pm • Debrief ends • Go to individual UG with the printed photographs to do personal reflection • “Civil Defence is about taking care of your family, friends, and people around youin times of crisis. How do you feel about doing your part in Civil Defence today?”

  10. All UG • Return the sash • Return the walkie talkie • UG teachers, you could further assess from the sharing after this
