Community Partnership Planning Context • Community Partnership Planning(CPP) was endorsed by DECD Executive in 2013 • Will be progressively used by Local Partnership EDs to plan work with their local communities • The CPP team will support this work
Community Partnership Planning What is Community Partnership Planning? • It is a process that brings together Education leaders and their community for joint planning and ACTION to address community needs. • It uses the Results Based Accountability™ or RBA approach developed by Mark Friedman
Community Partnership Planning What is RBA? • It is a process • It starts with the result and works back to means • It is based on evidence • It requires you to work in partnership • It is a strengths based approach • It ensures accountability.
Community Partnership Planning CPP Team Work in 2014 • Planning Forums with 3 Local Partnerships, 3 Units & 4 other Partnerships booked • The CPP team provides - interpreted data for local community - mentoring and Partnership support - facilitation of CPP session - planning resources
Community Partnership Planning CPP data sets • CPP delivers an interpreted data set to each group prior to facilitating a CPP Forum • Data: • informs discussion about the on the ground experience • ensures action strategies are evidence based to achieve change in the indicator

Community Partnership Planning Process • Opportunity to have a Community Partnership Planning Forum in 2014 limited but 2015 ….. • Education Director speaks with CPP Manager & then presents to leaders of the Partnership • Small working group & suitable date agreed • Develop stakeholder list including NGOs, local government, CAMHS, CAFHS, Families SA • Some thought about how to include suitable young people and Parent Reps?
