  1. Amoeba Cell By : ) Dejhae Saunders

  2. The Amoeba Cell

  3. Structure Of An Amoeba Cell Pseudopodium Endoplasm Ectoplasm Contractile Vacuole Digestive Vacuole

  4. Functions Amoeba’s live in freshwater and salt water, in soil, and as parasites in moist body parts of animals. The pseudopodium is used to help the amoeba move, and also to eat

  5. Functions Pseudopodium- is used for locomotion Endoplasm- central part of the amoeba cell Ectoplasm- vitreous superficial layer Contractile Vacuole- cavity able to contract Digestive Vacuole- Cavity of an amoeba cell

  6. Osmosis Osmosis is the net movement of water across a selectively permeable membrane driven by a difference in solute concentrations on the two sides of the membrane. The cell membrane of the amoeba cell presents a barrier to large molecules gradually, the amoeba's outer membrane closes around the prey until it is trapped into the cell.

  7. Is the process of which molecules spread from areas of high concentration, to areas of low concentration. Diffusion

  8. Cellular Respiration Cellular Respiration is important to the amoeba cell, because amoeba cells can live in water and need oxygen Cellular Respiration provides that for them.
