  2. Intro Genetically Designed baby : engineering of unborned children. Parents can customize their baby’s gender and traits for perfect babies. Designer babies are healthier and cleverer than not engineered babies.

  3. Technology developing obstacles • The difficulty of the knowledge developing about gene. • The difficulty of society acceptance. ( law/religion)

  4. Positive effects of the tech. • The prevention of illness especially genetically • Will get more talent people. • Will have benefits on medical industry..disable couple can have health baby • Specialty creation of human.

  5. Negative effects of the tech. • The gap between rich clever people and poor people. -Psychologically pressure on people? • The prejudice of determined genetic info. --The underestimate of normal people • Fairness problem • (can’t go to the kindergarten/ assurance/ less possibility of finding jobs)

  6. Future strategy--recommendation • Long-term investment on the knowledge development of gene. Invite more experts who’s concentrating on the tech. • Positive marketing to help people have more knowledge about this area. • Laws and regulation about the how the technology will be used and what kind of people can use • Info security law. • Government support to necessary people such as genetically disordered people who doesn’t have financial ability of it. • Culture: Everyone is the same.

  7. Reality of the tech. • Due to the difficulties of various of reasons, it may not be the way that has described in the movie that people can get a perfect baby depend on their own thoughts. It may only be adopted in some special and simple areas. • But with the developing of the technology and society acceptance like cosmetic surgery, it may also be well developed like it.
