Understand the operations and procedures that affect delivery performance measurement. 2. Identify issues impact delivery performance measurement effectiveness. 3. Rank items identified based on impact on measurement effectiveness. 4. Issue recommendations. 5. Review processes for measurement use in service improvement.

Work Group Activity Status • Data Warehouse industry user access in September • New Shipment Quality Reports implemented • DDU Acceptance procedures to support Shipment Quality data collection implemented in late July • Finalizing new report requirements under EDW • DDU & BMC service has improved to record levels • Dedicated (Ad-Hoc) Parcel Service Coordinators • Communication with consolidators on performance

Work Group Action Items • Arrival Quality measurement • Consequences of poor arrival quality • Improved report design to focus on all pieces • Reports to support 8125 scan performance • Start-the-Clock process under eVS • Revisit BMC Start-the-Clock process • Data sharing & communication processes at the lowest levels • Performance for DDU Entry of Standard packages

  5. Work Group Activity Status • Goal is that processes and metrics will be in place for Fall mailing season. • Expect to sunset Work Group at end of Calendar Year
