Customs and Traditions On April 23 people celebrate Saint George Day On October 12 people celebrate National Day (like Mexico they call their parties “fiestas”)
Economic Activity Spain has the lowest economic activity status than others in Europe.
Political System Their government type is a parlementary monarchy Their ruler is king Juan Carlos
Educational values In Spain for primary school you need to be 6-12 years old For secondary school you need to be 12-16 years old For higher secondary school you need to be 16-18 years old
Art and Music People play the maracas, the Spanish guitar, and small instruments called castanets. Their special dance is called flamenco dancing
Technology They include: electromechanical machines, moving parts, belts, hoses, bearing, bolts, interconnected systems, interchangeable parts, the assembly line, steam engine, factories and the light bulb
Recreation People there play golf, tennis, basketball, and are VERY famous for soccer. Spain is obsessed with soccer, to them it is important as their religion.
Food Their popular soup is sopa marinara, other popular meals are: roast lamb, paella, and roast slucking pig. And before a big feast they will have an orange salad.
